Halloween in the Neighborhood

The 4600 block of Brandywine Street in Northwest Washington , D.C. , becomes the number one destination for children and parents on Halloween, as the traffic is closed, and the local fire station sends a crew and their engine to entertain passers-by.

Residents start decorating their houses as early as the first week of October and stack up on candies for trick-or-treaters.

Sundown is the sign for starting celebrations and visits to neighbors dressed up in the trendiest costume.
